Start spreading the news! "Monster Trucks" finally hits theaters nationwide this week. Early reviews have already proven that Monster Trucks will indeed be a critical darling as well as a financial triumph. All this rabble from the film community got us wondering one thing here at Unreel News. What are Monster Trucks Oscar chances for 2018?
The executives at Paramount must have the balls the size of mountains for releasing this film so early. January is often considered the dumping ground for Hollywood's movies. A cesspool, be as it may. Paramount seeks to change that with the release of Monster Trucks. They will have to change the term "Fuck you, it’s January” to “Fuck Yeah! It’s January” Andy Serkis’ motion-capture performance breathes so much life into the character Creech. You almost forget he’s not real and just CGI! There is just so much right with this film, that I don’t even know where to begin. With its record-breaking 35-minute opening long take to Roger Deakins beautiful cinematography, the Academy needs to fill all eight best picture slots with Monster Trucks. It would be unprecedented to see a January film win best picture but it is needed. We give Monster Trucks our highest honor we can give it.. a 5/5

In a recent interview, Ben Affleck was asked about how his Batman movie was going along. He said that there was no script which got many people curious and nervous. However, that's not the actual case. Just yesterday, I went over to his mansion to play a game of poker with him, Matt Damon, and his brother Casey. As I was kicking everyone's ass, I looked over at Ben and asked him, "Where's the script, Benjamin?" This is what he responded with. "To be honest with you. We have a script and it's mostly complete. The problem is... it's lost. I can't seem to find it anywhere. I searched through my drawers, wasn't there. I looked under my bed, wasn't there. I'm just going to assume my whore of an ex-wife took it when I wasn't looking". He also told me to keep this a secret but this was too good for a scoop. So what do you think about this news? Does it make you confident about this movie? Where do you think Ben left the script? Make sure to leave a comment and keep up on more Unreel news. After hosting last year's Emmy's and now preparing for this year's upcoming Academy Awards, it seems like everything is going just fine for Late night talk show host, Jimmy Kimmel. Well... until now. A fresh scoop coming from an anonymous movie site is saying that Mr. Kimmel is probably going to be arrested for his recent act. Screenshots of a leaked email is being released on the web, saying that he was going to kill director, Zack Snyder for not letting him premiere the new Justice League trailer on his show. We met up with down to earth human being, Zack Snyder about the email and the threat that was put on him. This is were his comments
"Listen, Jimmy is a swell guy and he's a close friend of mine. Seeing the message appear on my computer screen was shocking especially coming from him. I really hope he doesn't kill me soon because I still need to finish the movie. It's in the editing process right now and it's going to take a while". He then went on to continue about why he refused the oppurtunity to show the new trailer on Jimmy Kimmel Live! "I don't think his show was the right place to premiere it. This is a very very special trailer and fans are really going to splooge once they see it. I want to show it at the perfect place at the perfect time. Right now, we're thinking about showing it before Trump's inauguration". So, do you think it was okay for Kimmel to send that threat? Where do you want to see the Justice League trailer to be premeired at? Let us know in the comments and be sure to catch up on all the unreel news. |
