On the 13th of March 2017, Warner Brothers released an official statement announcing that, due to critical backlash to their latest installments (including Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad, both released in the year of 2016) that now the company has decided to put an national ban on critical journalists from seeing their DC side of filmmaking.
Geoff Johns, Chief Creative Officer at DC Comics released a statement saying the following: “After our hard-working staff reached such backlash from these critics, due to them not enjoying our film, in regards to Batman V Superman, we could understand that mistakes happen and that critics can get things wrong at times, however it seemed no mere coincidence after Suicide Squad’s critical panning. We only want our films to get the best treatment possible, and we feel that this can be achieved if we shun out this portion of society that could influence audience’s views the wrong way.” Many people have now been speculating that this is because of David Ayer’s (Director of Suicide Squad) revolution against the critics, claiming that he only made his film for the fans and not for any critical mind. Fans have took this information and being to connect dots and suspect that David Ayer was the reason that this national ban by Warner Brothers was made. We managed to get a hold of David Ayer and he claimed the following: “The critics have always been hyperbolic, whether it’s towards hating a film or franchise or vice versa, it is a business that although I’ve experienced it for many years, fans of my film, Suicide Squad opened my eyes to the fact that critics clearly are trying to destroy people for their own benefit. So, as a result, I went up to Geoff Johns office and encouraged him to push this movement, at first he wasn’t sure but after I gave him my PowerPoint presentation and that I would get Gotham City Sirens out by November, he was all up for it.” Word on the street is that this will first be implemented and tested with the next DCEU installement (Wonder Woman) set to release June 2nd of this year and that if this succeeds, Warner Brothers will continue to do this. There are also rumours of Ike Perlmutter doing the same in regards to Marvel TV, due to Finn Jones following in David Ayer’s footsteps and joining in the ‘FOR THE FANS’ regime. Other DC Film directors such as Zack Snyder have not made any comment yet.

It's been dark times for the Adam Sandler and friends. With only their movies going straight to Netflix and Crackle, it seems like big movie studios will never give them a chance. However, King of Queens star Kevin James will not give up that easily. Although he's been having a stable sitcom with Kevin Can Wait, It seems he's wants to become his iconic role one last time. We found Kevin James on the streets of downtown Manhattan with a sign in his hands saying "Ten Dollar Handy's" and asked what this was all about. This is his comment.
"I really need to complete the Blart Trilogy. I love the character so much and we need to give him more depth. Since Paul Blart 2 didn't do so well, Sony kind of denied us of another sequel. I tried Kickstarter but that backfired pretty quickly. I then sold my house and my children however that still wasn't enough. Now, i'm stuck on the streets, homeless, no children, and giving out hand jobs to random strangers. It could be worse". We then asked about what Paul Blart 3 could be about. This is what he stated. "Paul Blart 2 was only written in three days and I think that was the main problem. We didn't dive deep into the characters but instead made jokes about him falling down. For this one, I took my time and wrote the screenplay in five days. I don't wanna spoil the plot since there really isn't any. I'll just tell you that we have even MORE jokes about him falling down and a statement on teen sex. Just for shits and giggles, we're gonna have a scene where Blart rides those hover boards instead of a Segway. It's probably the best thing I've ever written. Anyways, you wanna hand job?" I politely declined his offer and ran away as fast as I could. Besides that, what do you think about another Paul Blart? What would you like to see in the final installment? Let us know in the comments and be sure to follow for more Unreel news. By Wyatt J.P After Disney came out, (HA get it?) and announced that LaFou will be gay as fuck in Beauty and the Beast. Zack Snyder has come out (HAHA!) and announced that Cyborg and the Flash will be in a homosexual relationship in the upcoming Justice League. Snyder said this.
"Gays are hot right now. I wanted to make a statement to Disney by saying Hey! We can all be fags can't we? So I decided to rewrite most of the script without permission from WB of course, and added in a romance plot that takes up a total of 1 hour and 50 mins of the movie which is 2 hours and 40 seconds long. This is a great publicity stunt to get our masterful film noticed. Nothing more. So what do you think about this progressive move for DC. Let us know. |
